Old Montreal

I find it extremely hard to believe that as I write this post I’m suddenly a bit nostalgic for winter. Montreal experienced a brief couple of warmer days and it was beyond exciting, but since then its chilled down again and I honestly can’t complain. It turns out Winter outfits can actually be fun to style when you’re not just dressing to survive!

This camel coat has actually been my best friend this winter and it’s pretty miraculous that this is the first you’re seeing of it. The warmth is unbelievable, especially considering that I bought this coat from Topshop back in September.

But it all worked out! Because in addition to it just being a really warm coat, this winter also wasn’t as bad as last year’s. So I ended up wearing this coat almost as much as my arctic-level Canada Goose.

  1. Love the camel coat paired with the jeans and sneakers.
Like you, I hate how the extreme cold forces one to dress out of practicality and survival over all else, but wish we had experienced more of a winter down here in Louisiana. I didn’t have occasion to wear my coats and sweaters nearly as often this year, which is a bummer.
