Pinafore Dress, Asos / T-shirt, Brandy Melville / Leather Jacket, Hinge / Bag, Steve Madden / Shoes, Urban Outfitters
Haight-Ashbury; one might think of the Hippie era initially, but now the street is filled with small thrift and vintage shops that are loaded with pieces waiting to be re-discovered. Though I didn’t find anything on this trip, I’ll be back soon enough ready to find my next vintage obsession.
On another note, this pinafore dress is absolutely one of my favorite fall pieces. It combines two of my favorite A/W trends; Velvet and the Pinafore. I look forward to incorporating it into many memorable outfits throughout the whole A/W season! xx
Sweater, Bershka / Jeans, H&M / Shoes, BCBG
My cap goes off to whoever created the prettiest flag in the world – in my opinion. After searching high and low for a sweater bearing the infamous Union Jack, I finally came across one in Prague of all places. I created this outfit with the idea that sometimes you can work it so that a baggy outfit can actually make you come across as not a bag lady. The little bit of polish added by the shoes doesn’t hurt, either.
Bag, Marc Jacobs / Jacket, AllSaints / Pants, Forever 21 / Shirt, Forever 21 / Shoes, Converse
Stripes as in my new jeans and stars as in the stars of the show, the Marc Jacobs bag and AllSaints leather jacket. I loved these jeans from the moment I saw them, but as soon as I got home it hit me how hard they’d be to style. The first outfit I tried was with a plain white T-shirt and my treasured Converse high-tops. The whites didn’t match, and I felt like there was a more creative way of making the pants work without being so simple. So I swapped the shirt for something of the same cream shade as the pants, threw on a never-fail leather jacket, and I was ready! Really though– leather jackets never fail. xx
