In the midst of the craziness that is keeping up with New York Fashion Week, I thought I’d make a little outfit post for you guys. This is a pretty basic go-to outfit for me: ripped jeans, booties, and a v-neck sweater-long scarf-moto jacket combo on top. It’s an effortlessly cool look, while remaining comfortable and warm too.

This outfit is for those of us who will be celebrating not Valentine’s Day, but Galentine’s Day (note Parks and Recreation reference). This saturday I plan on taking advantage of some quality time with my girlfriends by going to dinner and a super chic club we’ve been wanting to go to forever! Whether it’s spending time with your significant other, your best friends, or your pet – which I would be doing if I was home – what will you guys be up to this saturday?

Despite the fact that I couldn’t feel my knees by the time this shoot was over, I’m really quite in love with this look. From my new booties (which I absolutely adore, thank you Jefferey Campbell!) to the loosely tied back hairstyle, this warm, casual outfit is perfect for the quickly chilling weather. I also can’t pass up an excuse to break out my fedora, or my new comfy grey sweater. xx

Just a quick ootd to make up for the fact that I haven’t posted any outfits lately! It’s starting to get quite chilly here in Montreal, but at least for now I can still have some style! Once it gets to -40˚, it’s really hard to think about how you look when you’re just trying to not freeze. I really liked the combo of the striped sweater overlaid onto the blue and mustard plaid; I’m really into mixing stripes and plaid lately!
