A couple of weeks ago I was lucky enough to be contacted by a new company called Lime & Vine. Upon perusing their site I was instantly intrigued – their products are truly chic comfort at its finest. This skirt was the perfect way to introduce me to the brand. I’ve been looking for the perfect bodycon midi and this totally fit the bill! Though I don’t normally lunge at an opportunity to dress like Kim Kardashian, the layered and raw edges of the skirt keep it casual enough to wear with some favored sneakers rather than Louboutins.
I’m so excited to be experimenting more with skirts this season – I’ve faced the harsh winter of Montreal once and this year I’m ready to take it on head-to-head; I refuse to compromise my style to stay warm, and absolutely insist on wearing more skirts this Winter!! An additional note: if you follow me on Instagram you already know, but I did go blonder! I needed something to remind me of sunny California days as I head into the dark of winter, and this seemed to do the trick.
Despite the fact that I couldn’t feel my knees by the time this shoot was over, I’m really quite in love with this look. From my new booties (which I absolutely adore, thank you Jefferey Campbell!) to the loosely tied back hairstyle, this warm, casual outfit is perfect for the quickly chilling weather. I also can’t pass up an excuse to break out my fedora, or my new comfy grey sweater. xx

Though layering isn’t very necessary over here in California at the moment, I will always opt for a couple of layers when I can. A structured jacket over a slouchy shirt is one of my favorite forms of layering, if you haven’t noticed in recent posts. But the real stars of the show here are my new Jeffrey Campbell boots and the fedora! I’ve been hankering over a pair of Jeffrey Campbell’s for ages, and when I found these beauties at the fabulous LF Sale I couldn’t resist! As for the fedora, at this point it really seemed like a staple. I kept picturing my outfits with a fedora on top, and I couldn’t wait any longer to make those outfits a reality! xx

Merry Christmas! We woke up on Christmas morning to amazingly cold weather and surprisingly busy streets in NYC. I couldn’t wait to take this coat out for a spin, and I was right in my anticipation! It was surprisingly warm and effortlessly chic; the perfect coat for Christmas Day! Zara has yet to fail me. I hope everyone’s holiday was amazing and filled with family, fun, and good memories! Xx
